Pinterest’s new office in Dublin, Ireland highlights the deep rooted history and fantastical nature, bringing to life Pinterest's global brand through the Dublin culture and connection.
Each Pinterest office feels unique, eclectic and celebrates the local culture,
cuisine, style and icons in which the office is found.

Bringing Pinterest, the home of inspiration, to life in Dublin, Ireland, meant celebrating the highlights of Dublin's landscape,
from pub interiors to the exterior's natural coast, within the office design.

From themed and intimate conference rooms, to larger gathering spaces, to wayfinding, each space feels connected to each other and to Dublin. Moments found throughout tie together the story of the environmental graphics, wayfinding zones and interior design theming, all rich in design reference's to Dublin's landscape, culture and mythology.
Environmental Graphics
The Arrival Experience
Entering the Pinterest office, you're greeted with the feeling of an open and airy botanical garden. Florals adorn in the space in a variety of artful executions and set the scene for the rich and vibrant workplace design.
This installation creates a moment of awe and wonder right at entry and serves as a photo moment for visitors.
Areas of the installation correspond to different rooms and floral types found throughout the National Botanical Garden of Ireland.
All woven designs completed by Irish artist Aine Dunne.
The Coffee Bar
Transitioning deeper into the space, the floral theme takes on a warm and cozy cafe feeling, with coffee bar and seating areas for employees to enjoy.
The dimensional installation brings depth to the space, layering MDF frame arches and multi-material floral expressions, utilizing acrylic and felt for a contrasted design.
Layers of materiality, including natural ties like greenery, botanicals and pressed floral wallcoverings, bring the space to life.
Signage and Wayfinding
Zoning and Theming
Considering the zoning and theming driving the design through the environmental graphics programming,
patterning for the signage programming was derived from these themes to support wayfinding.

Following the established structure for typical Pinterest workplace signage design, the Dublin local flair includes highlighting the architectural and ornamental element of stained glass to placemake within the themed office zones.
The framing structure ties back to the frame and solder joints of stained glass, while the patterning is applied to a transparent acrylic to allow light through.
