An expansion project at the University of Virginia Hospital, creating more operating and procedural rooms to accommodate the increasing number of patients served each year.

Brand moments highlight and visualize the familiar shapes, forms, colors and textures of Virginia's landscape.
These elements provide a sense of place and purpose by communicating stories of healing plants and herbs native to Virginia.

Garden Walk Panels
Flora Panels along the interior corridors, displaying flora and fauna native to the Virginia area.
Graphic representations are paired with content and photographs of the flora.

Topography highlights the James River, wand tributaries of the James River form tracks for the play objects to move along.
Dimensional Play Shapes represent important animal ecology within the James River Habitat and surrounding areas of Virginia.
